Cornish Crumbly - Reviews

Cornish Crumbly

The lovely cheese is slightly sharp and mildly acidic. It has a welcome fresh taste with a bit of a zing in the finish. Sue, the cheese-maker, describes it as like a creamy white Lancashire with a real zing on the finish. It won the 'best modern British ' cheese in 2008.

This is a very different cheese. It is creamy yet fresh and almost lemony at the same time. The taste changes as it moves around your mouth – fascinating!

I like the contrast between the white creamy cheese and the very definite rind. It is a lovely cheese on its own, in a salad or sandwich - very versatile.
