Trelawny - Reviews

Trelawny

This is a little gem from Whalesborough Farm. At certain times of the year each truckle has a pink rind. The pink is formed from a natural mould which originates from the spores from the hay which is gathered in the neighbouring barn - a truly farm produced cheese! Cut into the cheese to reveal a firm golden interior with a long and lingering flavour.

just to let you know that after having sampled Sue's Trelawny cheese while staying in Cornwall this summer I'm now a total fan. I brought loads back to Switzerland and my Swiss friends were most enthusiastic and are planning trips to Cornwall in 2010 - me too

Rather salty. I was a bit underwhelmed.

The kids loved it 10/10, mum and dad prefer something with more taste.
