Alderwood - Reviews

Alderwood

This semi-hard washed rind cheese is made with unpasteurised cow’s milk and traditional rennet. It develops a natural rind of mottled orange/brownish colour derived from the ripening mould and the natural flora of the area. It can be eaten young but will develop strength of flavour as it matures.

I really liked this one - especially the slightly smoky flavour, which I wasn't expecting

No, I will not buy again. This is the sort of rubbery bland cheese common in Germany and Scandinavia. No thanks!
