Gunstone Goat - Reviews

Gunstone Goat

This semi-hard goats cheese is made by hand to a Dutch recipe in the heart of Devon. It has a burnt orange rind and a firm, buttery texture. It tastes creamy, smooth and the goatiness is gentle and very pleasant. It was a well-deserved medal winner at the 2004 British cheese awards.

The creamy texture allows the slight bite to linger pleasantly on the palate. A very enjoyable experience.

This one reminded us of the French cheese St Nectaire from the Auvergne. Mild and smooth texture.
