Bath Soft Cheese, Somerset
I visited Graham Padfield, a true English gentleman wearing shorts, socks and sandals and his team at Park Farm, Kelston near Bath one morning in August. The cows had clearly passed through a short time before me and I really felt at the heart of the farm. All the Park Farm cheeses are fully organic. Only the richer evening milk is used in cheese production, adding to the rich creaminess of the finished cheese. Graham has invested heavily in plant and equipment in recent years, which means the business, and the cheese, will be constantly developed. I also met Gabby, Grahams wife who designed the label for the Bath Soft Cheese quite a few years ago now. Together they make a talented team.
